4700 Screen Protector
My 4700 arrives today, and it just occurred to me that I forgot to order some type of screen protector. I searched the site, and it seems that most user prefer the screen protector manufactured by Boxwave or Brando. Looking at the Boxwave site, there appears to be two types, an anti-glare and crystal. I seem to recall a thread or site where someone has taken screen shots of these two protectors to compare them. I'm trying to decide which will be best for me and my use, which typically is 50-50 inside and outside, good lighting in both cases. Can someone offer up their opinion or link to the site/thread. Thanks.

Hi Svenster. I have used both Boxwave products. Both are excellent. I prefer the anti-glare becuase it provides more tactile feel when using your stylus. It feels like writing on paper and, in my case at least, my character recognition seems better becuase of it. The crystal is just that. It's very clear. The anti-glare doesn't diminish the screen in anyway. It really boils down to a preference thing. I don't know which thread you are refering to, there have been many on the topic in this forum. Enjoy your new 4700!.

I've been through this personal dilemma also svenster.

I've tried a few different ones and found one which I will absolutely always use now.

http://www.marketworks.com/storefron...4&i =17261498

These guys are based in the UK but I'm sure they will ship to you if you are outside the UK.

They also operate from Ebay to.

The protector comes with a lint-free cloth and the size of the protector matches the screen perfectly. It's very easy to fit, first-time and left absolutely no air-bubbles at all.

It's the best and easiest to fit screen protector I've ever had the joy to use.

As mentioned in the previous post it feels like writing on paper and you get no annoying glare on the screen.

Hope this helps.

I just got my 4700 and went with the C2 Writeshield from PocketPC Techs. The glare can be bad at times, but so far I've been able to adjust my own position and still be comfortable enough that I don't mind it. I do like that the display is as clear and sharp as it would be without the shield on it.

I'll see how it works on my upcoming vacation and decide then whether to try the antiglare shield too.
