Green flashing LED
Can anyone explain what the green flashing LED on my iPaq means? I am not quite sure wheter it was the lower or the middle one. But it didnīt flash in yellow but in green. And it didnīt stop flashing after turning the iPaq of.

Thank you in advance,
Gerald

Flashing green means you have a reminder or alarm that has come due.

I think it only blinks green if you have a reminder and the unit is powered off. If it's powered up then I believe the reminder screen comes up instead of the LED.

It depends on how you have the notifications set up (under Start, Settings, Sounds & Notifications, Notifications (tab), then pull down the list to Reminders and other events.

It's actually a good idea to turn off that flash, or set the time limit fairly short, since it uses quite a bit of battery power to have the light flash for a long time.

On my hx4700 the green light flashes when I make a GPRS connection with my mobile through IrDA. The manual sad, that a notification event has occured. May be, but I'm sure, it's not a reminder or an alarm.

Yes, ikehiker, you're right. Flashing was set for my PDA under Settings->Notification->Beam. I've just forgot that.

All I know is poeple that have allowed it to flash continuously have had their PPC hard reset thanks to a battery drain. Feel free to ignore it if you want.
