Help, email bug!
I have a new 4700, everything works fine except email.
I cannot get "messaging" to send (I usually get an "invalid recipients" error)
I know it's not my settings or mail servers because all of the same accounts and settings work fine in "WEBIS mail"
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Dan

If you have WebIs mail installed doesn't this take over the operation of the mail account.

When you say 'messaging' do you mean MSN Messager?

I have the same issue.

I thought it had something to do with your ISP not allowing emails to be sent from unrecognised IP's. I can send fine from my home WiFi network, but as soon as I try to use another one I can receive emails fine, but get the "invalid receiptient" error back when sending.

Are you using Messaging on another WiFi network, or your home? Are you using WEBIs mail at home?

"Messaging" is the new name for the microsoft email program in WM2003SE, Webis and messaging can coexist on the same Ipaq.
I have tried both email programs "at home wifi" "at work wifi" "at home usb" and "public wifi" the microsoft email program only sends on my usb connection at home, never anywhere else, Webis always works. I am testing the latest Webis (ver 2.11, a week old) and it works very well. I think I will end up buying it to solve my problem although HP wants to talk to me about my dilema so I'll keep you posted
