Anyone install PCPhoneHome yet? It's alledgedly a 'stealth' program that sends out an email to a predetermined address every time the device is connected to the internet. It sells for $30. flat rate.
The problem I anticipate is that anyone can go to the 'settings/system/remove programs' location and see if any security program is installed and remove it.

That appears to be a serious breach in this program's armor. Anyone???
There is another security solution I found called TrackItBack.
You buy an adhesive label with an 800 phone number and your personal code. "When somebody finds the unit the sticker lists their web site and a 1-800 number, a tracking number and a note that a reward is available. Trackitback will arrange to pick the unit up anywhere in the Western world and ship it back at your cost. They claim a return rate of 88%."

Anyone using either of these?
