Trying to update ROM without any luck :-(
I've tried to upgrade the ROM in my hx4700 many times now, but didn't not succeed.
After verifying the current ROM revision it says I've got ROM version 1.00.09 EN and that it will upgrade it to version 1.00.09, which is just the same!
If I go ahead, it really "upgrades" the ROM to the same version - just like a hard reset.

There is a typo on the HP website, see this thread:

I have just added this wording to the first post:
BE AWARE THERE IS/ HAS BEEN A TYPO ON THE HP SITE - THE DOWNLOAD YOU WANT HAS THE FILENAME SP29841

Damn, they have just swapped the links to the current and the previous versions on HP WEB site.

I don't have my cradle here at work (just my usb charger / sync cable), and the update software won't let me install it without AC power. I could plug in my travel charger, but then I wouldn't have the usb connection. Bummer.

Think of it as allowing the other users to 'test' the upgrade for you - then you won't feel so bad.
