So..you wanted WMP10 in full screen on 4700?
Did anyone manage to run WMP10 after the rom update in full screen (with picture covering all the screen)? Wasn't that the reason so many user wanted WMP10? How about bookmarking the URL in WMP10 (not in IE)?

The thing I was most interested in is the media synchronisation. I dont know if this was possible before, but it works a treat!

If you just copy it over instead of syncing, it will. Beteplayer has always had a problem with WMV 10 files, but 9 and older work fine.

I thought it had something to do with WMP10, My X50v won't play .wmv through betaplayer either.

Oh...and WMP has the button for full screen, but it still won't stretch the video to cover the full screen, something that betaplayer does. It will only shrink to fit, not stretch to fit.

No fullscreen is a huge disappointment. Do tell if there is a way around.

We were talking about .wmv files not .asx files

Also I pointed out that WMP10 has different codecs:

For my "own" videos (including ripped ones) I use XviD/DivX encoding and I play them with BetaPlayer and I agree that it's the best. Some people suggest encoding in WMV format @ 640/480 resolution in order to watch full screen videos with WMP. That's stupid!!! For that resolution a high bitrate is needed in order to keep bits per pixel ratio good, which is waste of SD card space. So I strongly recommend to convert everything do DivX/Xvid @ max. 352/xxx for bitrates about 500kbps. Then BetaPlayer is a MAGIC! Now the problem comes with the streamed content - you can't control codecs/resolutions....and for wmv streams you are forced to use WMP. Usualy these streams are low bitrate encoded thus low resolution is used and all that when viewed on VGA devices looks too small. I was wandering...all these hacker/cracker/virus-maker guys - why they don't make it possible playing wm content in BetaPlayer for example instead of creating viruses?
