Battery Display staying at 100% after Flash Update
I am using the extended main battery. Since I updated the rom, the battery level is not displaying any other value than 100%. Is anyone else having this issue?

not me, i am at 64% right now. have you tried a hard reset after the update, or full discharge/recharge to set the battery calibration?

Yep, dang it!

Mine is doing that very thing!

I wanted to wait a while before I replied to be certain and sure enough all indicaters display 100% and I know for sure they should read down under 90% or so by now.

And yes, I do have an extened battery (Mugen).

I upgraded the ROM last night, and just took the 'paq off the basestation (at 100% battery). 15(ish) minutes later, I'm down to about 98%, so its working ok here.

Hi Andy.

Are you using an extended battery?

Ahh, sorry, missed that small (but vital) bit of the original post. I'm using the normal supplied battery.

I'll get me coat.

I charged the extended battery overnight. I had a solid amber light in the morning. The display still would not count down when the battery was draining.

I went to take Driftless's advice and do a hard reset. I backed up my image to a SD card first using IPaq backup. At the end of the program it tells you it is going to do a soft reset. After the soft reset the battery indicator showed 95% and started to function properly.

I had tried at least 10 soft resets last night and this morning before I ran IPaq backup. I am not sure if this program reset something or I was just plain lucky. Thank you for your help.

FYI... my extended battery is a HP (OEM)

Mine works now- may have been the sync that fixed it.

Your to funny Andy!

You don't have to get your coat as you're were just trying to help us out here!

And who knows as others with the stock battery may have had issues as well.

By the way, mine just started working, but I don't know when as I had on the cradle to sync and inst apps last night (I normally BT to sync, to add files and apps, but everything was still hooked up from the rom update...).

I just checked my battery a moment ago and it was down to 82%.

Don't know if simply giving it a liitle juice while it sat in the cradle fixed it or if syncing fixed it or what.

And your right as doesn't mattery how big the battery is if you don't know how much juice you have.

Not knowing how much juice you have kind of reminds me of the good ol' days of the e740....ahh the memories of the 1% warnings....thanks Toshiba!

Well, I spoke to soon because the problem's back again.
It appears that after the rom update my battery display indicators display my extended battery as 100% full and won't show the decreasing percentage until after I have approximately a little less than I'd normally have with my stock battery.

I hope this makes sense.

Also because the mugen battery last so long it's taken me a while to realize what (I believe) is going on.

Does this happen to all extended batteries or just certain brand? I guess I'll find out when my hp extended battery comes next week.

Cheers
