I'm new to this forum but what I can tell already is that it seems a really huge knowledge base.
Anyway, I tried searching for some answers regarding changing language - ROM on this particular model.
Haven't found anything concrete...

So? Anyone knows if it can be done?

Sorry, no answer to your question but looking for the same answer for French to English.
Because ROM update is only available for English

I am sure they will release the other languages soon. It would be more difficult for them to have all of the updates ready at the exact same time. They usually release these things for tons of languages. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone could speak the same language? That would decrease costs tremendously, similar to how if no one called tech support, costs would go way down...lol

you just need to find the correct address in the .nbr for the hx4700

http://www.ipaqhq.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17377 << see that for specific hx4700 details. Get the HP update, raw-write the nbf to an SD card (needs to be 256MB or above) then you should be able to flash.
