VNC not working
Tried installing VNC, but it just doesn't do anything. Won't work and no error message, just nothing except a blink-of-an-eye message that pops up after bout 30 secs, but can't read as it's to quick to disappear.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

I had that problem, too and fixed it by telling the desktop vnc client to use v3.3 authentication only. After that, no problems. You can find a check box on the Authentication tab and on Legacy tab. Hope this helps

If that doesn't work, there's always the terminal services client and www.logmein.com

Thanks, I tried locking in 3.3, but no go.

I read that the Terminal Services only works for XP professional - is that correct? (I have the std. XP)

Just as a curiosity question, do you have SP2 installed? If so, you may need to go into security and allow VNC in.

Did you get this resolved? I get the same result to a Win2000 machine.

Nevermind. The "use v3.3 authentication only" option did the trick.

Thanks.

Here ya go.

You guys never mentioned what VNC client you were usng, but I assume you are using the freeware "VNCViewer" - I could never get this to work. After plugging in my desktop's IP address, the program would just close. I bought PTVNCHiRes, and that has worked great for me ever since.

Although it does cost money, it works.

moha VNC problem
Hi there,

I try to connect using moha vnc since all the others failed, but here I have another problem.
My pc is running on Windows XP Pro and I use RealVNC.
On my hx4700 I installed the moha vnc demo and after connecting I get the message "Server has closed the session".

Can anybody help me out here? I guess I need to change some settings, either on the server (pc) or the pda, and I already tried a few things, but I still encounter the same problem. Please...

Thanks in advance,
Greetz,
