Tweak2k2 helps you make a lot of registry modifications, without the worry of having to manually edit the registry. Here is a list of all the things you can tweak.

It definitely is the safest way to edit(tweak) your registry. Unless you're very knowledgable in editing a registry it can be disastrous.

I use tweak2k2 to make the block recognizer my default input method as well as setting my Avantgo files to be stored in File Store as opposed to Main Memory.

I tried to put Avantgo in FS. But viewing Avantgo was very slow. Even the ActiveStink step was slower. So I moved it back to Main. So, did you notice a slowdown with Avantgo in FS???
Thanks... Ron...

I too tried moving Avantgo to the FS just by changing the registry, and yes performance was awful for me. Updating AvantGo over wifi took about 3x longer. Even opening the Avantgo home page was much slower and browsing my synced pages was just painful.

I did try moving it to my SD card, but it then tookup at least 3x more space due to the cluster size, as I have a 1GB SD Card.

Unfortunately I too ended up restoring it to main memory...

Ya, it's slower, but with our piddly little 64 MB of RAM it's worth the wait to me. I'm not a regular user of AG, only when I travel.
