How good is the HX4700 extended battery...?
I have purchased a new extended battery from HP, after carrying out my rom update. Has anyone had problems with them at all? In Power Options, it shows me having 15.5 hours left without wireless on (10.2 with it on), but in Sprite Backup's Today plugin, it only shows 7.7 hours after a full charge, as it did before changing batteries. (Even after soft reset). Does this matter?

I don't think the 'estimates' matter - the only thing that matters is:

Is it better for you actually using it?

Not very good at all if you've upgraded to the new ROM apparently. Sorry - Couldn't resist it !

That may very well be a reflection of the Today plugin you mention, so you might be better off experiencing what the battery life is like first, or write the developer of your Today plugin and find out from them why it does not seem to recognize the extended battery.

Nevertheless, I too have ordered a new extended battery for my not yet received new HX 4700, so yes, I am very interested in how much extra time you receive from that battery.

Min 50%, max. 100%

I am back to ROM 1.00 and I'm testing my iPaq with both batteries now. When finished I'll report the results.
