Theme Problem
I have about 30 themes stored on my CF card and I'm wondering if there is a way to get the today screen to recognize them (without putting them in file store or rom). I did a search on this forum and I came across a discussion that said it was possible, but their method is not working. They said to name a folder 'My documents' on a storage card and the 'today screen' would recognize it. They also said to open Resco and click on a theme and it should recognize it. Neither of these methods work. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've tried in the past and can only get them to work from my MM. Unfortunate because it limits me to keeping only about 5 themes on my device.

you need to make sure "ignore my docs" file is deleted on storage cards for this to work. Make sure in file explorer, that you choose "show all files" setting to find this file. Good luck.

What are the negative ramifications to deleting ignore my docs?

nothing negative. It allows apps to recognize the my documents folder you create on a storage card.

I believe it may make some apps slower when they display an open file dialog...since it will now be looking through the CF card. May or may not be a problem.
