How can I access my PPC from my desktop?
Yeah I know this is the wrong forum but it seems like the best place to get answers (and I am using a 4700 )

How can I explore the contents of my PPC when connected wifi other than using active sync from my desktop. So how can I just type in path to a pocket PC directory on my desktop?

I do not think that it is possible to open up a share or something but I believe you could run an ftp server on your device which you could access from your desktop, I just googled and found this;

Grumps, I am running Windows XP Pro, and in Explorer, or in My Computer, I have a link to Mobile Device. When I am connected with wifi, and have Activesync connected, I can browse the contents of my 4700 just like any other drive or network share on my system.

Theres an even better way man. Get SOTI Pocket Controller at http://www.soti.net/ . You can work on your device with the mous and your PC Screen. My friend showed me this great peice of software, I should have listened and tried it earlier. It can even do screen captures and record video of what you do on your PPC.

Another vote for Pocket Controller. It is a very useful app that will allow what you want plus a ton of other features.
