BlueTooth Memory Issue
I really hoped that HP would have fixed the "out of memory" error that occurs (sometimes) when you fire up the BlueTooth feature. I checked the HP web site about the bit 'fixed' in V1.10 ROM but it didn't mention BlueTooth. Needless to say I am still doing soft resets to get BlueTooth working.

Why oh why release a ROM update without fixing that one?

I'll look forward to v1.20!

Since upgrading the ROM I havent had the error once! Sometimes the descriptions of what was fixed are not that descriptive "or even omitted". I dont recall HP even admitting there was an issue at all, maybe they fixed it without admitting any guilt?

That error is not just specific to the hx4700. I have also seen the same error on other models; my rx3715, h2215, Axim X30 and my Axim X50v. Sometimes some 3rd party applications can contribute to this problem. In most cases a soft reset will fix that problem. I find that most of the time I will run into this problem when I am using the BT radio and then put the PPC in standby (turn it off) without disabling the radio first. When I turn it back on and the radio starts things are fine until I try to start the radio again.

Thnx Ted,
I'll experiment with the same combination of events to see if that causes the problem for me. If so - i'll know what NOT to do!
Cheers,
RB
