Whenever I activate the start menu or other options pages (including adjusting the sound), PPCs play that really annoying ding and when an item in the list is activated, another, similar, but louder sound, is played. This is very hurtful when I am using headphones. I'd like to completely disable this forever. It provides no help at all. A pleasant tone would be more appropriate, but I would be perfectly happy with nothing. I usually only use my audio with headphones and if the program is not tied to system control (volume), then I'll leave system volume at max and adjust my volume individually. The system sounds are played at system sound level and therefore, the sound is VERY loud!
