I am looking to the ROM Upgrade and would prefer not to reinstall all my programs. My IPAQ hx4700 (UK version) came with iPAQ Backup which is Sprite Backup version 3.0.2 Build 1739. Sprite is capable of doing restore across Rom Upgrades, with a delta file. http://spritesoftware.crmdesk.com/an...wse.aspx%23p24

However FAQ says you must install latest version is using pre 3.1.3 . Can I upgrade the HP OEM to latest version or do I have to purchase a new version. Is there an updated version available via HP ?

Sprite say that they do not offer end users email or telephone support so I am not sure where I can go to get the answer? Anybody know?

Update

I have found the answer - needed to upgrade but cost was only $10 direct from Sprite. So I will try the delta restore as in FAQ when I do the upgrade in next week or two.
