I just purchased my 4700. So far so good. I've installed a few programs and then figured out I can install them on my sd or cf card. Is there a way to move them from main memmory to the cards after install?

If you have just purchased your 4700 then I would take the time to un-install them and re-install them to your fastest card. Save RAM for your PIM such as Pocket Informant, your Today Plugins, etc., but move most all other Programs to the SD or CF Card.

Reinstall-Just uncheck the box to removed the program. then check the box and install to an alternate location. You can also load to iPAQ file store-in case you forget, lose, or damage your card-you still have the program loaded .

Sarge, it would be easier for you to just uninstall them, then reinstall them to your SD or CF cards. The other way of manually moving them requires editing the registry, and shortcuts, and is just a real PITA.

Thanks for your responses. I only have a few additional programs so I'll do as suggested and uninstall and reinstall.

Thanks Again
