Hi,

anyone know of a decent free(ish) notepad replacement. I want be able to write text, pictures etc. and be able to delete/ammend them without having to cut'n'paste as with the built in version - not bothered about the text recognition. Different colours would be nice but not essential.

Give apMemo 1.0 a try. It is cheap ($0.00) and sounds like it may do what you want. There is also a $14 version but it isn't much different from the free one. The free one also has an alarm that can be set and the page pops up on your screen.

not a bad little program, could do with an anti aliasing feature (neither versions have this) and then it would be perfect!
