Connecting to a Work Network
Greetings from Australia,

My apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

I have successfully set up my wireless network at home but am struggling with connection to my work network(non wireless/bluetooth) through the usb cable.

I have looked through the documentation but seem to be missing something, am i right in saying i need to configure the network cards option?

is there a ''idiots guide to setting this up anywhere?''

any help appreciated

regards

John Brisbane Australia

Welcome to the site

When you say you want to connect to your 'work network through the usb cable" are you saying that you want to be able to see the network drives using file explorer on your iPaq when it is connected to your pc at work?

Have you set up an Activesync connection yet with your work PC? The second thing is to verify if you are using a internet proxy in your organization. If you are, you can go to the settings => Connections -> Advanced -> Select Networks. Choose the "my work network" and click edit. If you go to proxy settings check on the This network connects to the internet. If you are behind a proxy, enter the proxy server info. Click the Advanced button if your proxy uses a port (ie. 8080).

HTH!
