Add/Delete from "New Menu" on 4705???
I've noticed that the "New Menu" in settings doesn't allow you to add or remove items from that list any longer. Has anyone found a way around this or is it there and I'm just totally bonkers?

Apprecciate your help.

Scott

Hey Crashdau,
Could you clarify for me...
Are you selecting Start Menu>Programs>Settings>Menus ?
If so it should offer you a selection of items checkboxes from which you can select the items to appear on your Start Menu.
If not could you clarify....

It does show those various choices.

What I'm looking to do is add to that list of items to choose. I'm not sure if it a registry setting...if so where? or some other access to add items to that list.

Thanks, Red Seven for your help.

OK, if you go to Programs>Settings>Menus there should be two tabs at the bottom of the screen. One says "New Menu". Have you explored this tab. I've never used it so I'd have to explore it myself to figure out what it does. I'll give it a look over later today if I get a chance.

Thanks for the help. I looked the article over and it appears to be more in depth than I was thinking. I thought it might be something I could manually add and point to a lnk file type.

Thanks again.

I also think that changing the "New Menu" is getting into developer territory. I was hoping there might be tweak at tweek2k2.net that might do the job but I didn't see one. Hey developers out there....what can you do for crashdau?
