Nearly a HX4700er

Greetings HX4700ers,

I am about 30mins away from picking up my brand spanking new HX4700.
After a lot and I mean a lot of deliberations on whether to go for the x50v or the HX4700 I settled on the 4700 mainly due to you guys on this forum, so a big thanks in helping me make up my mind.

My primary use will be for SatNav using TomTom 5 and I hope the 4 inch screen will be a big step up from my current Dell X5. As long it does that satisfactoril;y anything else will be a bonus.

Cheers for the welcome Ted. I can know officially announce my membership of the HX4700 club

Initial impression - completely blown away by the screen.
Never seen TomTom look so good can I assume that it is VGA compatible or will I have to run some other program to force it. If it's not already showing VGA I can't imagine how clearer it can get.

Now to download some skins and tweaks.

If what I've read is correct, TomTom 5 supports VGA, but 4 does not. Also, 5 is supposed to be more stable on a hx4700 but I've been hearing otherwise on some of the forums. I opted for iGuidance because of the issues I read about.
