Problem with MSN Messenger
Hello everyone!

I've got a problem with MSN Messenger.

It dosn't log in (i've checked user and password) and comes up with the message:

"Logon to MSN Messenger Service failed because the service is temporily unavailable. Please try again later."

I can login on my computer with no problems! (of course not logging in on 2 places at the same time!)

Everything else in IE works perfectly fine but I dont understand msn not working!

Ehhh... sometimes the server is just messed up like that (e.g. friends being able to log in and I'm not able to... but then using Trillian it lets me in...) I would suggest waiting a couple of hours or maybe until tommorrow to check out whats up.

You probably need to apply the Messenger update which, I think, can be found on the Windows Mobile website.

If you have any problem finding it I can supply you with a copy.

Maybe a dumb question but are you able to browse the web from your device? MSN messenger uses standard HTTP ports so you have to be sure you can connect....

Its nothing to do with the actual MSN service being down.

I can login perfectly fine on my computer. I then immediately logged off and attempted to login on the HX4700. It didn't work, I then tried to browse the internet and that worked perfectly fine.

I dunno whats going on! I tried going to the Windows Mobile site but I couldnt find where to download an update for MSN Messenger.

It's quite easy to find on the Windows Mobile download page, but just to make life even easier for you here is the link
