TomTom 5 Hanging when exiting program?
Hi,

Anyone able to tell me how to fix my hx4700 from hanging when i exit the tomtom 5 application, it doesnt do it all the time, id say 8/10 times, the only way out is to do a soft reset as you know is quite anoying if you use your satnav often

Unfortunately, there isn't a fix - yet. As has been discussed previously, it appears to be a problem with all VGA devices, not just the hx4700. TomTom are apparently aware of the problem and working on a fix, but who knows how long that will take...

I couldn't care less about the freeze on exit, it's the fact that the memory leak that causes it will end up freezing your hx4700 in the middle of a journey.

You'd think TomTom would have found this during testing...
