internet video files
Is there any way I can adjust the WM player
10 (or any other player) settings to be able
to open online video clips on my 4700. When
trying to open a file I get to the point when
I see the window supposed to contain the file
it is working but nothing happens. Do I need
an update? And it is exactly the same with
rm files. Many thanks in advance.

It will only read WMV/ASX. If these are the files, just wait. For some reason it takes a long while for it to load up some files...If they are mpg/etc, then get betaplayer, and for each video you'll have to physically download it to a card then it will play.

I've even has some wmv files that took minutes to fully download before they played...most usually take about 20-30 seconds to fully buffer...but if I switch videos, it is instant. Try opening another video, then click on your PIE link.

Thanks. Thus, unfortunetely I should suppose that the ppc version of WM player 10 doesn't integrate into the PIE as a plugin. Am I wrong?

Well....only for windows media files...and it can sync w/ the desktop version, but that's it. No mpeg, rm, etc.

Betaplayer/TCPMP plays everything else except for QT and RM..and those aren't available for PPC yet. (Do a search for TCPMP for the latest version links.)

If you get this, you have to save the files to a card or IFS, then manually play it.
