TASKING software, what do you use?
hi, what task management software does everyone use? I just tried out pocket breeze with the pocket informant software that came with the hx4700 and its horrible, the build in default one with pocket windows 2003 is so much more fluid and faster/easier to use, the bold fonts in breeze are harsh to read too and I couldnt find how to change them.

I want' something simple and fluid to use but more advanced that the default one.

Oh and while I'm at it, anyone know how to display the time with the date item on the desktop? or software that does as I need the space at the top of my screen on wisbar for other icons

Pocket Informant is truly one of your best bets. What I love about it, is the simplicity of use coupled with the ability to customize it. To change the fonts(and access options for everything else), open PI, tap the colourful circle at the bottom and choose options. There you'll find a setting for fonts.

To move time from the top bar to your today screen you'll need a 3rd party program(Today Plug-in) such as SPB Time. Do a search on the word "time" on Pocketgear of Handango, there should be plenty.

I agree with Blueradish - PI is brilliant, & well worth upgrading to the full version.

Just a note - the version that is on the 470x is the Full version - just not the very latest version as PI has been upgraded since the 470x was launched.

Also agree with the above comments PI/PB works great for me.

Have you had a look at either of the programmes excellent manuals?

I cast my vote for Pocket Informant.
I paid for all versions since the debut....and will continue to shell out the $$ for all upgrades (that aren't free).

Of course it is - what I meant to say was that I'd upgraded to the latest version (PI 2005). Too much software on my PPC - can't keep track!

Looking at your today screen pics, how did you manage to get rid of the awful bold font style that is shown default by pocket breeze? I could only find out how to change fonts not colours or styles.

What you need is a Today Plug-in to do that.

I use PocketBreeze (there is a link in my MyPDA) there are other programmes available as well.

Settings>and choose Color Settings from the drop down box at the top
For font styles:
Settings?Font Settings>Advanced tab.

What is the awful default style? I use the default scheme with no issues.

Are you using any VGA hack software?

Thanks Rob.

I should actually update my screenshots as they have changed since then.
