Bad Ipaq File Store?!
I think something may be wrong with my Ipaq FS! It's VERY slow, and it has gotten worse. Reading and writing. First I thought it was Avantgo when I had installed it straight to the FS, but now I realize when just moving files around from there, it takes the device a while to think about displaying what folders are even in there. Is this possible that the FS is corrupt? Is there a way around it? This also leads to my next Q...I got this for Christmas in December 2004, but is it under it's HP warranty? I heard they are now only 90 days instead of one year.

Find a posting by Red 7 as he has a link in his 'My PDA' regarding missing/corrupt file stores, it might be of help to you.

Hey I didn't see his posting anywhere-can you tell me where that is? I couldn't find Red 7 under a search.

Try Red Seven (Red_Seven). Just curious, have you tried a soft reset recently? Most of the threads I've read about problem FS is where they've failed completely. Your problem sounds more like something a soft reset would fix, but I could be wrong.
