Does anyone use Pocket Mac Pro3 or The Missing Sync for PPC on a Mac? I've been wanting to do the jump to Mac for a bit now but have been worried because of the compatibility issues. From what I have read, it seems that the sync is seemless and everything is flawless. But I'd like to know if anyone has any first-hand information.

Anyone out there use a Mac?

There are a few I believe that uses MACs here. Probably not very many. However I would also recommend visiting our sister site Aximsite.com. There are more members that that use MACs and there is a dedicated forum for such.

Thanks again for putting me onto the Axim site. Never thought to go there for answers (aren't they the IPAQ nemesis? )

From what I can see, the Mac versions of ActiveSync will only allow you to put CAB files onto the PPC, which is a pain. Also seems to be a lot more glitches than the Mac reviews claim there are.

Looks like I'll be getting another PC when I upgrade and not a new Mac. Sorry Steve Jobs, I tried, honest.

Maybe in some ways you can say that. However the two sites are ran by the same person; Chris. So the best of both worlds are brought to you.

I'm using Virtual PC to sync to a Mac. When I encountered the category issues and inability to install programs that weren't just .cab files, I set up Virtual PC, which I anticipate needing for other reasons.
