MemMaid probs
Someone recently suggested I try MemMaid to enable me to direct IE cache to a storage card thereby saving me memory on my 4700.
I installed it yesterday and having some problems with it.
When I was syncing my MObile Favourites of approx 7 - 8Mb, my storage would climb from 4 to 10Mb used. After installing MemMaid and setting up IE cache to go to the SD card, I found that when I sync'd the Mobile Favourites, the SD storage went from 63 to 79Mb, 16Mb yet I was only moving across approx 8Mb??
But more of a worry is that when I went in to read my IE items, I could tap on the first link and go to an item to read, but then I could not go back to the original page. The message "Unable to connect, You have no modem entries created and no network card present" come up.
Given the above, I have turned off Memmaid and gone back to storing the cache on my main memory.
Anyone else using MemMaid successfully on a 4700?
