I need the use of the extended battery so I didn't upgrade my ROM, but this little machine with the ext battery and a 6gb cf card is GREAT for travel!!! Watching movies on it with core media player (once beta player) is great and once I get to my destination, using mapopolis to get around is awesome!! So far, I'm liking the pocketpc platform as opposed to the Palm that I've been using. But I'm a bit weary of the combo (phone/pda) devices as I've heard negative things about them. But this has been really fun.. Sorry about the non technical post - I just had to vent my excitedness!!

Agree with the above - thanks for posting.

Apart from a few of the regulars a lot of the posts here are only negative experiences - as people come here when they have a problem.

We all know that the vast majority of users are having a great time with their devices and and use the advice here to get them out of a bind - without realising all the other great things they can use their units for

Of course, the more they use their units for the more more problems they have

Dude... you got me basically beat... I run a 2GB SD card and a 4GB CF card.... I love to load it with music/AVI-DIVXvideos and use gsplayer/betaplayer, respectively....

What do you run in the SD slot... dare you tell me you have an empty SD slot!
