1st try running the ROM update again. Make sure you are:
- Running an update that matches the same language as your pocket pc (English language update to an English language pocket pc).
- Running it from an XP machine (these updates are not compatible with Vista).
- Plugging your pocket pc directly into AC power (don't rely on USB charging); and plugging directly into a USB port on the computer (don't use a USB hub).
- Remove any installed storage cards, disable your computer's firewall and antivirus software, and disable your computers power preservation settings (you don't want it going into hibernation mode during the upgrade).
