ROM Help PLEASE
can anyone please help me when updating rom something happened and now it won't even come on or anything even soft or hard reset

1st try running the ROM update again. Make sure you are:
  • Running an update that matches the same language as your pocket pc (English language update to an English language pocket pc).
  • Running it from an XP machine (these updates are not compatible with Vista).
  • Plugging your pocket pc directly into AC power (don't rely on USB charging); and plugging directly into a USB port on the computer (don't use a USB hub).
  • Remove any installed storage cards, disable your computer's firewall and antivirus software, and disable your computers power preservation settings (you don't want it going into hibernation mode during the upgrade).

that won't work i've the bootloader it starts then it says can't sync. with host pc

that shouldnt matter.. there is a prog to run on the pc to force a rom flash. you have to stop active sync as well...

i know its for the russian WM5 rom but if you follow the thread there are instructions for recovering to original rom.....
