ipaq screen died...well kinda..

Has anyone else experienced the screen die? well it works.. just the touchscreen is not working anymore...

my son was playing cubical chaos and he came over.. told me it was locked up... so I did a soft reset and still nothing... you can hit the iTask button and it pops up... just you cant click on anything...

does this mean I need a new screen? or possibly something loose inside?

I just got this off of ebay and have about 10hrs on it...

I noticed a guy on ebay sells new screens... $75ish shipped... is this what I need to do?

well I got it...took it apart.. and reseated the connections... phew!!!

I have recently experienced the same problem. I found a touch screen digitizer on the famous auction site and replaced the faulty touch screen. Now it is working.

What happened after you resetted the connectors? Is it up and running or is it still refusing to get any input from you?
