There are few differences AFAIK. I'm pretty sure I won't have the time for such a task; however, the related XDA-Devs thread has quite a lot of comparisons.

steve, which rom did you finally choose? and have you found any issues with it?

I chose this one by Kozura. So far it works fine, but AS won't sync it, so I can't give a firm answer as to issues. The AS problem started previously with my Advantage, which leads me to believe that there is a problem with my desktop. I might have to reformat it, which really sucks.

But so far so good. It goes online without problem, it's fairly quick, and hasn't hung at all.

Has anyone found any issues with any of the 6.1 roms that we should look out for? Does anyone have an opinion as to which is the best and why?

well i am very happy with sanjays v3_lite. i added opera browser, foxit for pdf's and TCPMP for movies and music....i sync ok with AS so i have no problems. not sure i am willing to try the others yet. dont really see the need, and yes i constantly read the 3 threads in xda about the roms.....
