Broken Battery Switch internally/tyco surface mount ext ant
Can i bridge this? i tried a toothpick. here is what i have sent to several repair and parts dealers..i have found no worthwhile response and am not stoked to use inferior hw6515 or h4150 that both suck in comparison to hx4750...
I have not been able to boot up my Hx4705 for several months. Obviously, it is a very nice Ipaq, WHEN IT WORKS. It shut down one day and has not started up again. It was not dropped, banged up or anything. However, I did switch batteries on a regular basis. I found out that the printed board has a lame little switch that is the flaw on this Ipaq. When locking the battery into place, it engages a little PLASTIC piece which appearently trips the little circular piece on board triggering allowance of battery to charge. When I opened up, I found a little piece of broen black plastic floating around lose. Then i read it is a battery switch part. I have tried silicon-hot glue monting a perma-fit toothpick widdeled down to fit in. It will not do the trickl. I pray it is a poor handywork attempt and not the board as i do not have funds to outright do any better upgrading than the h4150 i am using now in its place OUCH. do you sell this little pivoting black plastic battery switch??? Also, do you sell the Tyco-surface mount antenna pigtails for adding a wifi ext antenna to such a Mini-PC like the Hx4705 or the D-link 660w have internally? Tyco flushmount which resembles a U.FL RF-antenna mount....
