I have a bunch of corrupt files on my 4700, I don't know how or why. I would like to update WM5 ROM 2.0 to 2.01 but lost ActiveSync and can't figure out how to get ActiveSync back and working. It connects but only as Guest. I can’t delete the partnership because in the file menu (on my PC)most of my items are grayed out and I can’t delete my mobile device to set up a new partnership.
Any help or suggestions?

You should be able to update your ROM with just a guest partnership - that is if you are able to get the update file. It seems that HP has misplaced these files and now you cannot get access to any of the updated drivers for the hx4700....
