I have just purchaced an extended battery 3650ma (Cameron Sino) for my HX4700 (which is running WM5 2.1.05 ENG)

I charged the battery untill the ACBPowermeter showed that the charging current had dropped right off, this took some 5 hours.

I then ran a simple test with MemoryMap running connected to a BT GPS but with the screen turned off, so that it was logging my position, this is the configuration I use to maximise the battery life when out hiking, it allows me to turn the screen on to get an instant position fix and it only draws about 154mA with the screen off). The problem I have is that the battery meter shows the battery at 100% for the 10 hours then it slowly dropped to 75% and then the Ipaq turned off. When I plugged it into the mains and powered it back up the backup battery was flat but the main battery showed 75%.

The total time the Ipaq was powered on for was 18 hours. which was quite good.

I have since done soft resets, and a hard reset. but the battery meter never drops below 75%.

Is there anything else I could try. Or is the battery faulty?
