screen alignment problems

the touch screen alignment seems to drift by about 5mm after doing an accurate alignment. not sure whats causing it - temperature ? any ideas? at times so bad needed to use nav mode.

Do you have a screen protector in place? This can cause problems sometimes.

More likely you have a piece of debris (a grain of sand or grit in most cases that I have seen) wedged in between the screen face and the device border. Use of a plastic or rubberized toothpick works well at removing this kind of debris. If you lack this type of tool, then a wooden toothpick can work, but be careful not to scratch your screen!
