Screen freezes a lot

have a ipaq 4700 which stands in a cradle and is connected to my desktop via usb/active sync.
Almost every day when I want to use it ,the screen is frozen. The buttons are ok. Only a soft reset wil get it goiing again.
I tried a hard reset, installing it again but it stil get stuck all the time. I just did installed the latest firmware.
What can cause this and who can help me with this.

Yes I have some software which came with the installation cd and TT6 navigator installed.
And yes it stays in the cradle all the time.Though the desktop pc is only running in the day/evening time. And not even every day.
During the night it is off, and quite often the next day the ipaq screen is frozen.

make sure youre installng as much as possible to external storage. if youre device dosnt have enough system memory then it will freeze.

on the same note, make sure activesync is stopped on the device when youre pc is off or in standby. activesync may be the issue alltogether. its very memory and system intensive
