Worried rx5935 dead...

Seems my rx5935 may be dying...

For a couple of months now it has been requiring regular hard resets - with increasing frequency. Now on a daily basis

Symptoms...
- All PIM data locked - unable to access calendar / contacts / e-mail
- Applications going AWOL - HPLauncher for example. Message - cannot run application as certificate not signed or one of the components missing - please re-install
- TomTom today screen plugin goes AWOL. Sometimes is not even active after hard reset / run TomTom
- System freezes

Seems to me to be a ROM or registry corruption but I don't know what's causing it.

All this happens even when 'factory reset' via the HP iPAQ settings PC software or via a manual hard reset on the machine itself - and happens when no third party software has been installed.

Anyone else suffered a similar fate?

For info, it went back to HP last week...
