Rx4240!!!!!!!

When i turn on my ipaq it starts up and goes to the desktop but only for a second then it says connection failed sever not found...i bought this from some one i know but he never knew how to use

So the issue is that the pocket pc does not boot up properly? Have you tried performing a factory reset?

To perform a factory reset and return your HP iPAQ to factory settings:

Press and hold the OK and Rotate Screen buttons.
While holding these buttons, use the stylus to lightly press the Reset button on the HP iPAQ until the device restarts.
When the HP iPAQ restarts, release all of the buttons, and then remove the stylus from the Reset button.
The HP iPAQ restarts and powers on.

is there anyway to connect to my internet i don't have wireless i have a 2wire modem my company is yahoo
