iPAQ rx 1950 won't send email
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Receive emails OK but can't send. Get a message each time after hitting send/receive: "Messages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device. Make sure you are connected and that your email account settings are correct. Then try to download messages again." Wireless connection good. Server Type: Pop3. Incoming: incoming.verizon.net. Outgoing: outgoing.verizon.net. Domain: verizon.net. User name, password all good. Checked "Outgoing mail requires authentication." HP says everything is good check with Verizon. Verizon says everything good.
HELP!! This is driving me nuts!!

This worked for me:

On the same page where you checked Outgoing mail requires authentication, also check Use separate settings. Then tap the Outgoing Settings button. Enter your Username and Password in the space provided (probably the same username and password you entered in the earlier screen).

I don't know why this would work, but it did the trick for me.
