Hello Folks

Can you help a clueless amateur?
I can play previously transferred video clips (MPEG format) on my iPAQ 1950 storage card on the unit itself, but since I had to get rid of a virus on my PC and lost sound etc. on it (the PC), I cannot play any new MPEG files transferred to the unit.
I resolved the problem on my PC by installing a bundle of new codecs (I got audio etc back which was lost when watching YouTube etc) - but I am completely lost as to how to fix the issue on the iPAQ.
I can transfer the files across (I can "see" them in File Explorer), but they will not open - no sound or pics. WMP indicates that the file is playing, however.
Any advice would be welcome.
