Transcriber inoperative

I did a soft reset on my Rx1955 and now I cannot activate my transcriber. When I select transcriber and try to go to options, I get a message saying "Can't open the configuration dialog. Transcriber options are available only when Transcriber is selected as the active input method." I'm trying to make it active but it keeps going back to keyboard. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I found out how to recover the transcriber. I went into Excel and on the bottom was a icon of the keyboard with an up arrow next to it, I clicked on that and a menu came up with with the input choices and I just selected the transcriber and got it back. This has worked numerous times so I guess thats how I have to do my PDA.

When you perform a soft-reset, the keyboard returns to the default (and selected) input method.
You have to manually select Transcriber each time after a soft-reset.
This has been my experience.
