Pairing bluetooth headset with rx3115

Has anyone out there been able to pair a bluetooth headset with their rx3115 and use it? I want to buy one so I can use it with skype and listen to music with it, but from looking around I'm guessing it might not be possible. I was able to pair my rx3115 with the Motorola Bluetooth Headset HS810 but it just designated it as a serial device and I wasn't able to use it.

same here

Hi,

do you have any fix? i have the same problem ... i think HP does not provide the audio gateway for the headset hence we cannot stream music to the BT wireless headset. i am dying to get this fix ... the standard wired headset is so inconvenience ...

So if you cannot listen to audio/sounds from the device with the bt headphones, why did they even make them? From reading my literature it sounds as if that was what it was designed for, and HP even makes their own bt phones especially for these ipaqs. What would a person do with these ipaq bt phones if not listen to the ipaq? Fashion statement maybe?? I hadn't bought the headphones yet. Glad I didn't spend the money yet. Geez. Of course one of the reasons I bought this model line was the BT and how it touted that you could stream music to your bt headphones all around the house through nevo, so I had plans to buy them here shortly. This is crap if there isnt a method to make them do what they claimed to do.

the included app with HP bt headphones will install bt headphones (not headset) stack on your ipaq unit

There are tons of the actual HP brand bt headphones all over ebay touting rx3115 compatibility and they are all advertising streaming mp3's to them from your ipaq. They are in the $80 range. Has anyone checked these out for sure to know they really do not work as HP claims?

cool mingkee. I posted at the same time as you did. So if I get the real HP ones there should be a cd or such with them to make them work like advertised? good to know. Thanks!

I have a pair of the new BT phones. First one did not work, called HP, had antoher in 3 days, This one works perfectly with my rx3115. Actually, I get aobut 150 feet with no problems at all. It was hard at first to sync, but the cd program had a big help.....
Im happy my my BT headphones

BUMP...Looks like a fix was found. So by headphones you mean the two ear music type headphone? Has anyone gotten a cell phone like headset to work?

Does anyone have the stack for the headphones they'd be willing to send? I think it just adds the A2DP and AVRCP. Is this correct? Also, would it work with other headphones such as the Bluetake Bluetooth?
