hx2400 vs rs3715?

I have an hx2400. Second one with a bad pixel. Little shining dot tha really bugs me when i run video or pictures. I am considering exchanging for th 3715. Has this been a problem with the rx3715. I'd appreciate any input

This could be a problem for any of them. My rx3115 had a bad pixel. My JAM also has a bad pixel. I don't really watch video, so not a big deal for me, but it sounds like it is for you.

Find an app called PocketLCD and put it on an SD card. When you are at the store, see if you can open one and run this program. It displays sold colors so you can find dead pixels quite easily.

Or you could try returning it to hp. I complained about my rx3115 and got them to send me a box for an exchange. In the end I didn't want to take a change that I would get two dead pixels on the next unit and just kept it

I agree with harleyxlc,

I bad pixel can exist on any PPC. If it is under warranty (which is should) then have HP fix it.

Seems there was mixed review at this site if the fix works. Something about dead vs stuck pixles. Doesn't seem like it can hurt so I am gonna try it on my g/f's v35 and see if it works! Wish me luck!

You need a player that can play the Quicktime movie. Maybe Betaplayer can do this.
Another option is to convert the movie to WMF, so you can play it with Media Player.
I hope this will help you.
