If you've still got the CD that came with it, you may find a user's manual on that. You can also check out HP's support & driver's page for the device to learn more about how to use it, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time hunting down a user's guide. Most of the IPAQ documentation is pretty generic and doesn't provide much practical help about how to use the device.
What issues are you referring to?
Just charge it up for several hours, install ActiveSync & Outlook on your XP computer or Windows Mobile Device Center on your Vista computer, plug the pocket pc up to the computer, create a partnership and sync your information to the device.
