IPAQ 3115 - Help with charging issue; Car charging is flaky; AC adapter works fine

Thanks for all the great info posted on this forum.

I'm having an issue with my IPAQ 3115 not charging with my car charger. The problem seems to be a "loose" connectivity problem i.e. when I plug the charger into my IPAQ, the "battery charge" indicator blinks a few times and then stops. My IPAQ is mounted on a goosneck mount. Wondering if this is an issue with the charger not fitting correctly into the IPAQ socket. With a wall adapter, I don't see any issues with charging - but I have the IPAQ lying flat on a table while charging (as against on the GPS mount in the car).

Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated!

Probably just a bad connection within the lighter socket (or accessory socket if you like).
