WiFi keeps popping up

This is getting weird.
I keep getting a popup stating that my pda can't connect.
It's as if I'm trying to start IE and there is no network available.
It wouldn't be a problem IF I was TRYING to connect to IE, but I'm not.
There is no software running in the background, I've tried clicking "Dismiss", but it keeps popping up, I've tried settings but I can't do anything there because the popup keeps popping up and won't let me get to the screen.
I was finally able to (after many, many attempts) to delete all of my connections and it finally stopped.

Any idea of what's happening?

Charlie

The other common cause of this is having email set to download on a schedule. This will happen whether or not email is active. The settings are in Accounts, Accounts, select the name of your email account, Next your way to the 4th page, Options, Uncheck the box "Connect and check for messages every:" box on the first page.

As an alternative to unchecking the box, I've found it will not try connecting if you make the ActiveSync account active before you close the email or leave your wireless network.
