it is fine until i connect the cable; then it frezzes and i have to soft reset. i tried to reinstall a new version of active sync but it didnt make a difference, i cleaned up the registry with a registry program, also made no difference.

everytime i attach the hotsync cable to my laptop(i use as my home pc) it freezes and i can't do a thing, and i want to go on the internet(through my laptop) it was working fine just the other day, but it seems virtually over night it has decided to freeze when connected to the hot sync cable, why is this happening, it is driving me insane !!!!!!!! help please

look, i did another experiment, removed active sync completely and connected my pda to the laptop and it didnt freeze! but i need active sync to add things and browse the internet, so at least i know its not my pda's fault, its something to do with active sync, any ideas?:(

hmm, i see the response has been overwhelming, at least someone tell me of a site where ppl actually respond to posts, my situation has not changed, i can't figure out why AS freezes up...i know, i know, its like talking to a brick wall.....
