I am trying to "reinstall" my PocketPC by flashing the BIOS, but I get a "Error [242]: INVALID MODEL ID" error message. It sais "Your iPAQ must be rx3715 and beyond."

I have a rx3715 in spanish and download the latest BIOS from the HP Site.

Oddly, when the Rom Upgrade program runs, it detects my pocketpc installation and sais:
- Model ID: HP iPAQ rx3715
- Image Version: 1.01.11 (Bootloader Version: 0.66)
- Language : SPANISH

Any ideas on how to get the flash to work?

Are you using the Spanish language ROM for this or another language ROM?

You said you are trying to reinstall your pocket pc!
Are you just trying to get it to factory original state?
You might just want to hard reset it, and go from there instead of flashing the rom.
