I am under the impression that you cannot check your email or internet on the 1715, but that you can run MSN Messenger.............it runs if I have it up to the computer, but not when it stands alone............keeps telling me I can't get signed in because I haven't set up a modem connection? Please help me................

Also can you upload pictures to the iPaq for backgrounds & screen savers & such? I dont have the necessary card to print, but want to put some pics of my boy on there...........

Also, I also got a card for 15 downloads from Napster........I need to download them to my computer and then sync them with the iPaq, correct?

Welcome to th site and enjoy your new toy.

Do you have a wifi card and system at your house? if not then you will need to be connected to your PC to use messenger (and get your emails and go on the internet - which the 1715 can do).

You may want to have a read of the tutorials linked in my MyPDA on the left under my name - these will give you great ideas on what you can do and how to do them.

But if im not mistaken you can still connect to the internet using a mobile phone and gprs. Your mobile phone will have to have IRda though.

You need WMP10 to sync napster files and your model only has WMP9.
